A 2023 survey carried out in Italy measured mobile brand awareness in the online grocery market. Glovo was the most popular brand, with nearly 60 percent of respondents recognizing the grocery delivery company. Supermarkets ranked second, as 55 percent of consumers were aware of grocery chains' mobile applications. Amazon Fresh sounded familiar to 35 percent of surveyed Italian shoppers.
