Over the observed period, hard coal was the most exported coal type from Turkey. The volume of hard coal exported from Turkey peaked in 2022, at nearly 675.8 thousand tons. In 2023, the exports of hard coal decreased to 378 thousand tons. In the same year, the coke exports peaked, reaching approximately 237.8 thousand tons.
