A survey conducted in 2022 among Australian consumers revealed that around 50 percent of respondents based in South Australia intended to visit restaurants, bars, and cafés less frequently due to higher living costs. In comparison, only 36 percent of Victorian consumers intended to visit these food establishments less that same year.
