Companies using procurement software for business purchases might not shop on marketplaces. Amazon Business seized this market opportunity and invested in digital procurement integrations, so that business-to-business (B2B) buyers could order products from Amazon Business and eventually finalize their transaction on the marketplace. As of February 2023, nearly 70 percent of available Amazon Business integrations included general procurement tools.
