Average number of cards used by online banking clients in Portugal 2021-2022, by type
In 2021, the average number of cards among the online banking population in Portugal totaled 1.4 cards per person when it comes to charge and credit cards. In 2022, this value remained equal for charge cards, but increased to 1.5 for credit cards. In regard to prepaid cards, people in Portugal had on average 1.3 cards in 2022.
