Attitudes toward operators on the financial market in Portugal 2021, by type

In 2021, the feeling of trust, the perception of security, and the willingness to share data fluctuated between different operators of the financial market. Banks presented the highest percentages for the three indicators, as more than 58 percent of the respondents considered them trustworthy and trusted in the security of their information, while more than 38 percent were willing to share data in exchange for benefits. E-commerce websites were the financial market operator which respondents trusted the least, presenting the lowest values for all three indicators, with 15.3 percent of respondents trusting this operator, 18.8 percent relying on the security of their information, and 17.5 percent being willing to share data in exchange for benefits.
