KPIs of the largest real estate investment trusts (REITs) in Germany 2023

Almost all largest real estate investment trusts (REITs) listed on the German stock exchanges were companies headquartered in the United States. The Australia-headquartered Goodman Group was the only exception. Prologis Inc was the real estate investment trust (REIT) with the largest market cap as of March 2023. The market cap, or the aggregate value of the total outstanding shares of the company was 117 billion U.S. dollars during that period. When it comes to profitability, Realty Income Corp had the highest EBITDA margin, with the company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization amounting to 91.4 percent of the company's revenue and the dividend yield at 4.75 percent. Nevertheless, Goodman Group headed the ranking in terms of five-year return on investment.
