According to a survey conducted in China in 2021, inpatient and outpatient were two sectors covered in all surveyed high-end health insurances. Ophthalmology was the field that least high-end health insurances cover, with only 24 percent. High-end health insurance was commonly provided by employers to middle- and high-level employees as a way of employee care.
