People with symptoms of a mental health condition in Spain 2021, by wellbeing
A study conducted in Spain in June 2022 found that around 89.2 percent of respondents had experienced mental health symptoms related to anxiety and depression in the last year. These symptoms, which included feelings of nervousness, distress, and tension, were predominant among those with a negative perception of their emotional wellbeing, as reported by 99.5 percent of individuals from this group. Moreover, more than eight in every ten people with a relatively positive perception of their emotional wellbeing also reported symptoms associated with anxiety and depression in the 12 months prior to the study.
