According to a survey on consumer attitudes toward plant-based alternatives conducted in Australia in January 2023, just under four in 10 Australians were open to substituting the meat products they consume with plant-based alternatives. A slightly larger proportion of Australians, 41 percent of respondents, were unwilling to make the shift to meat substitutes.
