In 2022, Turkey was the leading inbound destination in Europe for long-haul travelers based on the share of long-haul arrivals. That year, Turkey accounted for roughly 17 percent of total long-haul arrivals in the region. Spain ranked second in 2022, representing around 11 percent of long-haul travelers in Europe.
