In September 2024, the producer price index for bread wheat in Germany was 115. This means that the price increased by around 15 percent compared to the average from 2020, which is the base year for comparison in this statistic. Sugar beet prices were particularly high this month. Compared to 2020, the producer price for sugar beet rose by 93.5 percent.
