During a global 2022 survey, around one-third (33 percent) of responding companies stated that they compensated advertising agencies based on labor or full-time equivalent (FTE). Approximately 27 percent of the respondents reported using a fixed, output-based compensation methodology, while 22 percent considered labor and performance.
