Utilization of funds under RPDA in India FY 2017-2021

In financial year 2021, the actual expenditure for the implementation of schemes under the Rights of Persons with Disability Act, 2016 was over one billion Indian rupees. On the other hand, the budgetary estimate was 2.52 billion Indian rupees the same year. About 59 percent of the funds allocated to the scheme were unused in 2021.
