In 2023, around 77 percent of respondents aged 19 years and older have sent a sext in the United States, whilst around 88 percent has recieved a sext. While the share of people who have recieved and sent sexts has increased, especially since 2014, the share of people who have shared sexts has stayed relatively stable, at around 18 percent.
