Paraguay and Peru were among the Latin American countries with the most investment in infrastructure relative to the size of their economies in 2020. Infrastructure spending amounted to over four percent of the gross domestic product (GDP) in Argentina, but less than two percent in Mexico. In absolute terms, the pipeline value of key infrastructure and construction projects was the highest in Brazil.
