According to a survey by Rakuten Insight conducted in December 2022, 45 percent of respondents between the age of 25 and 34 years old in Malaysia stated that they dined out several times per week. By comparison, 11 percent of respondents over 55 years old said that they only dine out or buy food on special occasions.
