According to a 2022 study, around four in ten internet users worldwide were paying a fair price for an internet connection. The remaining 61 percent, almost five billion people, were determined to have been overpaying for a connection.

A higher score represents greater internet value. A country with a value over the global average of 0.0729 is considered to have fairly priced internet.
