Work hours required to pay for broadband internet in the CIS 2022, by country

Azerbaijan was the least affordable country for fixed broadband internet connection among the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in 2022. The average Azerbaijani worker had to work for almost 3.5 hours in order to pay for the cheapest broadband basket in that year. To compare, in Russia and Armenia, the same could be purchased after less than one hour of work. Russia was also the second most affordable countries for a mobile data basket of one gigabyte (1GB) in the CIS.
