Working time required to pay for broadband internet in CEE 2023, by country
The highest average working time required to afford the cheapest fixed broadband internet among Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries was recorded in Albania, at around 3.7 hours in 2022. Ranking second and third were North Macedonia and Montenegro, where an average worker had to work for approximately three hours and 2.8 hours to pay for the cheapest broadband connection at home, respectively. Furthermore, Albania was the least affordable country for the cheapest mobile data package in the region.
