According to a survey carried out in five European countries in 2020, around a quarter of women reported vasomotor symptoms (such as hot flashes/night sweats) related to the menopause had been a moderate problem in regards to their sleep, while around 12 percent said it was a severe problem. Furthermore, approximately 12 percent of women said vasomotor symptoms severely impacted their mood.
