The United States was the leading country of origin for these pharmaceutical imports, which reached about 488 million U.S. dollars. Germany followed, exporting pharmaceuticals to Argentina for nearly 456 million U.S. dollars. These two nations represented over 36 percent of the total pharma imports to the South American country during 2023.
