According to a survey conducted in China in 2022, around 55 percent of surveyed Generation Z and Baby Boomers wanted less working time in the office. Only 25 percent of first half of Millennials would like to have more remote work.

The survey was conducted among:
13 percent aged 18 to 25 years (Generation Z), 18 percent aged 26 to 33 years (later-born Millennials), 19 percent aged 34 to 41 years (earlier-born Millennials), 37 percent aged 42 to 57 years (Generation X), 12 percent aged above 58 years (Baby Boomers).
