According to a survey of EHR executives in the United States in 2022, 40 percent of respondents reported they were aware of the need to join a Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN) but it wasn't a current priority. Although around a third of respondents said joining a QHIN was an active priority. A QHIN is a system of organizations which work together to share data and therefore ensures a level of interoperability between the participants and users.
