In 2050, the global industrial consumption of hydrogen is expected to increase drastically to 127 metric tons of H2 in the Accelerated Energy Decarbonization Scenario (AEDS), compared to only 37 metric tons of H2 forecast in the Reference Case Scenario (RCS).
