More than one third of the population in 28 countries worldwide thought that their countries should accept fewer refugees than they do today. However, opinions vary greatly from country to country. In Brazil, more than one in three supported accepting more refugees, while in Turkey, the country that hosts the highest number of refugees in the world, nearly 85 percent were in favor of accepting fewer.
