As of February 2023, most of U.S. adults, no matter which age group, preferred to watch the Super Bowl live on TV, with for example 91 percent of people interviewed aged 65 years and older planning to do so. In comparison, roughly two in three 18 to-34-year-olds would watch the 2023 Super Bowl on television. With 26 percent, the highest share of respondents who planned to use streaming services to watch the sporting event was found within this age group.
