According to a survey conducted during September and October 2020, petty cash management was the leading challenge faced by 31 percent of the microbusinesses across India. Over half of the microbusinesses withdrew about 55 thousand Indian rupees from their personal savings to manage their financial problems post the pandemic lockdown.
