A survey conducted in October 2022 concluded that 44.5 percent of Chinese medical aesthetics consumers made their final decisions to purchase medical aesthetic services after they gained a good understanding of the procedures, while 43.8 percent made their purchase after they found the right institutions or doctors. Only one in four respondents noted sales and promotion as a major factor leading to their purchase.
