Sales share of air purifiers brands on 618 shopping day in China 2021
During the sales promotion festival 618, the consumer electronics brand Xiaomi accounted for over 26 percent of air purifier sales in China. Other popular brands include Philips, Evovacs Robotics, and Blueair. The promotional day takes place on the 18th of June every year and was initiated by the online retailer JD.com as a counterpart to Alibaba's single's day. However, now, both shopping festivals have been adopted by most retailers independently of the brand affiliation.
