According to a survey conducted by NeoGrowth among its customer base, about 46 percent of the MSMEs in the metro regions of the south Asian country of India were fully operational during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. However, over 30 percent of the MSMEs in the non-metro region were impacted by the coronavirus and were non-operational in that time period.
