The youngest starting quarterback in Super Bowl history was Dan Marino, who was just 23 years and 127 days old when he featured for the Miami Dolphins against the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl XIX in 1985. This was to be Marino's only Super Bowl appearance, and it ended in defeat as the Dolphins lost 38-16, with the 49ers claiming their second ever Super Bowl victory.
