According to a survey carried out in 2021 among women who have experienced menopause symptoms while working, 58 percent of respondents in Spain said they felt there was a stigma around talking about menopause at work. This was also a feeling shared by 57 of respondents in the United Kingdom, but only by 37 percent in Germany.
