The Edelman trust index of 2024 shows a varied level of trust in the government, media, business, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). China showed the highest average trust level at 79 percent, followed by India at 76. On the other hand, Argentina, Japan, and the United Kingdom all had scores under 40 percent.
