In the second quarter of 2022, over 14 percent of households in Czechia used the internet of things (IoT) devices in their homes. Over 20 percent of families with children and childless families of only people under 40 years of age utilized them. The most popular were IoT security devices used by 8.2 percent of all households.

Survey was carried out on 6779 individual persons aged 16+ and 4049 reached households, the data was subsequently converted through post-stratification with respect to the whole population aged 16 or older which amounted to 8,8 million people and 4,5 million households.
The value is the percentage of the total number of households in the given group. By children are meant persons under 15 years of age.
