The offshore wind energy production in Belgium has been growing steadily since 2016, when it amounted to approximately 2.3 terawatt-hours. After a 45 percent increase between 2019 and 2020, it stabilized at around 6.7 terawatt-hours. In 2023, offshore generation registered a significant increase, reaching more than eight terawatt hours.
