Highway funding under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) also known as Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for the fiscal year 2023, reached 53.5 billion U.S. dollars in the United States. Throughout the entire period, Texas is expected to receive the most funding. The IIJA was signed in November 2021 and it also included funding for the rail infrastructure.
