Rostelecom, a Russian state-owned telecommunication company, earned over 707 billion Russian rubles in 2023, having increased its revenue by around 13 percent compared to the previous year. The company's revenue saw a sharp increase in 2019. Rostelecom dominates the Russian market of fixed-line telephony, with a share of over 70 percent. Since February 2020, Rostelecom fully owns the Russian mobile operator Tele2, one of the four major companies in that segment. Furthermore, Rostelecom provides digital communication services.
