Main topics of negotiation in French company agreements and endorsements signed 2023

In 2023, the most common subject of company agreements in collective bargaining was profit-sharing, incentive schemes, and employee savings schemes, with 34,230 texts signed. Wages and bonuses were in second place (17,860 texts), followed by working hours (17,500).

According to the International Labour Organization, collective bargaining refers to "all negotiations which take place between an employer, a group of employers or one or more employers' organizations, on the one hand, and one or more workers' organizations, on the other, for:
- determining working conditions and terms of employment; and/or
- regulating relations between employers and workers; and/or
- regulating relations between employers or their organisations and a workers' organisation or workers' organisations. "
