In 2022, the occupational sectors most frequently affected by collective work stoppages in France were the health and social sectors (8.5 percent), and the plastics, rubber, and fuels sectors (6.4 percent), according to the Ministry of Labor. In addition, companies with more than 200 employees were much more frequently affected by strikes: more than a fifth of large companies reported at least one strike in 2022.
