This includes applications for home purchase, home improvement, refinancing, cash out refinancing, and other purposes. White applicants accounted for the highest number applications and originations. The value of mortgages originated to White applicants was almost 2.9 trillion U.S. dollars, while for Black and African American applicants, this figure stood at roughly 223 billion U.S. dollars. The the value of mortgages originated to Asian applicants was higher at 415 billion U.S. dollars.
