In 2021, nearly 2.1 million forklifts were sold worldwide. Class 4 and 5 forklifts were the most sold type of forklifts that year at some 793,400 units sold. It is projected that in 2030, Class 3 forklifts will become the dominant forklift class sold worldwide, with around 911,500 units.
