Saudi Arabia dominated the Middle Eastern market in terms of installed flexible alternating current transmission systems (FACTS) between 2017 and 2021, at over 70 percent. The United Arab Emirates accounted for another 21 percent, while the rest of the Middle East had only 182 megavolt ampere of reactive power of capacity installed, corresponding to eight percent of the total market.
