A survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in November 2023 found that majority of the respondents in India across all age groups planned on spending more than the previous year during holiday shopping. Furthermore, about five percent of the respondents of ages 16 to 24 years did not plan on spending any money on shopping in the country.
