Lower secondary school completion rate in Turkey 2014-2023, by gender
In Turkey, lower secondary school completion rate fluctuated from the academic year 2014/2015 to 2022/2023. Lower secondary education completion rate was highest among girls in the academic year of 2019/2020, measuring at 97.5 percent. Completion rate of the boys reached the highest figure in the academic year of 2018/2019, amounting to over 98 percent. As of the academic year 2022/23. there was a slight decrease in the figures for both genders, equaling 96.7 for boys and 95.8 for girls.
