According to a survey conducted in September 2022 among teenagers in the United States, 21 percent of Black respondents reported feeling self-conscious after watching pornographic material containing stereotypes of their identity groups. In comparison, 22 percent of Latino, Latina, and Latinx teens reported feeling curious, while 13 percent reported feeling angry. Among Asian American and Pacific Islander teens, 16 percent reported feeling disgusted, and 25 percent reported feeling victimized.
