Hungarians had an overall low level of trust in news sources according to the findings of a survey conducted in 2022. Hungarians' most trusted source of news were different people and groups of friends they followed on social media, accounting for 25 percent of the answers. Public television and radio stations ranked second, chosen by 22 percent of the respondents.
