According to a September 2022 global study, most surveyed business travel managers did not consider limiting work-related trips in the year ahead because of economic concerns. While 30 percent of the sample believed that restricting business travel was unlikely, 45 percent reported taking a wait-and-see approach but not seriously considering limiting corporate trips. By contrast, just eight percent of polled travelers managers had already implemented a plan to restrict business trips.
