Annual number of Instagram influencer posts India 2021-2022

The overall number of posts by Indian influencers on Instagram amounted to nearly 9.2 million in 2022. This was a slight decrease from the previous year by 0.4 million. Despite the reduction in content, influencers belonging to the nano and micro levels exhibited some of the highest levels of engagement on Instagram in 2022. The social media platform was a driver of influencer marketing in the country with an average engagement rate of nearly five percent that year.
