Number of students at private universities in Germany 2022/2023
In the winter semester of 2022/23, around 365,022 students were attending private universities in Germany. This is the highest figure since 2020 and suggests that private universities are becoming more popular, especially as between 2020/21 and 2021/22 there was an increase in attendance at every institution listed.
